DCAS Assessments - Text-To-Speech issues
Students with the Text-to-Speech (TTS) accommodation who have NOT experienced prior problems with the text to speech accommodation, please feel free to continue testing at your convenience. For the few schools that did experience a problem last week, we would appreciate your continued patience as we work to identify and resolve the problem. The issue has been identified and localized to a few specific computers. AIR and DDOE are working with these isolated cases to resolve any remaining issues.
As always, if you encounter any issues with the DCAS test please contact the DCAS Help Desk to report at 877-560-8331 or email at DCASHelpDesk@air.org.
Thank you.

A Lexile® score is a measure of a student’s individual reading ability. By matching a student to reading materials at the appropriate text complexity, the student will experience greater success. “Find a Book, Delaware!” is an excellent resource to help teachers, parents, and students find appropriately challenging reading material.
